the food is too cold, the alarm went off too early, the bus is too crowded, the work is too busy, the weather is too humid... have you ever pick on things?
as a picky girl myself, i pick on probably everything on my everyday life.
being picky and always hoping for something better seems like a norm for ... well, most people in the city, particularly the 80's, 90's generation.
Things came easily, sometimes not even need an effort to fight for what they get. Education, for intance, had been in favour for us, think of the number of university places available compared to a decade ago - A-levels graudates are pretty much guaranteed for an entry ticket to Uni.
When it comes to the love of a family, it won't be an exggeration to say we're all spoiled kid - what we 'wished' is what we 'get'. Seriously, most of the parents do their BEST to satisfy the kids 'needs'.
maybe it's really time for us to learn to be thankful for what we got and stop complaining for what we couldn't get...
