attention or expression?

Someone said to me that he felt sick seeing people updating their status on Facebook or making at post for the happenings to the world. Are we trying to get the attention or do we simply need a place to express ourselves?

For those to think people just want to be the center of attention and fed up with seeing all those updates popping up from the news feed, why don't you stop logging into Facebook - I guess it (twitter, friendster..etc as well counted) was made to be a platform for friends to stay tuned with each others?

Some just need a place to express and not looking for a 'like' - that is why human created words. Look at all those blogs and printed media - if it is a crime to write to express, there wouldn't even be news paper to sit on your desk everyday.

All in all, if you find it unpleasant to all those news feed, isn't it a little ironic that you still keep tracking on those feed? Stop calling people attention seeker and start to rethink if you might be a pervert..
